Invent it. Blend it. Brand it! With no school in many local counties, spend the morning creating a smoothie with a purpose! Girls will explore the health benefits of different ingredients, invent their own signature smoothie, and turn it into a brand with a name, logo, and identity.

Who says inventions have to be gadgets?
With no school in many local counties, join inventHERS for Blend & Brand, a hands-on invention lab combining creativity, food science, health, and entrepreneurship. Young inventors will explore different fruits, vegetables, and other smoothie ingredients and learn about the health benefits they can provide. Then comes the challenge: instead of simply making something that tastes good, girls will design a smoothie with a purpose.
Could you create a smoothie designed to provide energy? Pack in certain nutrients? Add more fruits and vegetables to someone's day? Participants will choose a goal, experiment with ingredients, flavors, and textures, and develop their own signature creation.
Then they'll take their invention from blend to brand—creating a name, logo, and brand identity while discovering how trademarks help creators protect the brands they build.
