About the event
Coffee, Creativity & Construction is a free monthly meetup designed to bring local homeschool families together for a little connection, creativity, and hands-on fun!
Parents can grab a coffee, settle in, and connect with other homeschool families while we kick things off with a story chosen to spark curiosity and big ideas. Then, young makers will be introduced to a different type of creative construction, from Clixo and cardboard to clay and Shrinky Dinks, and challenged to use their own imagination to decide what to create.
There are no step-by-step projects and no "right" answers. The goal is to give kids the materials, inspiration, and freedom to experiment, build, and see where their ideas take them.
Each child will also receive their own Idea Log, a small booklet they can bring back each month to document their creations. They'll sketch their idea, give it a name, and share what it…
