Light Up Your Ideas! 💡
An Intergenerational Maker Lab
Celebrate Grandparents Day weekend with a morning of creativity, connection, and making together! Kids ages 5+ are invited to bring a grandparent, grandfriend, parent, or another special grown-up and become a design team for the morning.
Together, you'll explore simple circuits and LEDs while designing a one-of-a-kind light-up creation. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed, just bring your imagination!
Then, make a morning of it in Downtown Dunedin! Explore the marina playground, grab ice cream from Strachan's or popcorn from Harley's across the street, and enjoy some time together.
Suggested donation: $10. Donations support inventHERS, a nonprofit creating accessible, hands-on invention experiences that help young people - especially girls - build creative confidence and see themselves as inventors, makers, and problem-solvers.
