Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with a sweet afternoon of creativity, invention, and design!
Did you know that the hand-cranked ice cream freezer was invented by Nancy Maria Donaldson Johnson? Her invention made homemade ice cream easier and more accessible for families across America. In this free inventHERS workshop, we'll discover her story and then become inventors ourselves!
Participants will imagine an original ice cream flavor (the wilder the better!), give it a creative name, sketch their idea, and use 3D doodle pens to build a miniature version of their invention to take home. To top it all off, every participant will receive a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream (while supplies last)!
